Building character through responsibility
The Chronify
To be a good employee or organizer in the workplace or any field, you need to possess a variety of qualities. If you have these different traits, you will stand out compared to others. Your personality will reflect in your work. Every now and then, assess yourself what kind of employee or organizer are you?
Always stay attentive when fulfilling responsibilities. Other essential qualities include:
-
Work collaboratively: Perform every task in the organization as a team. Assign at least two members to a task and determine the maximum number per team based on the work requirement.
-
Be mentally prepared to respond anytime: Be ready to take on any task or responsibility at any time. If, for any reason, you are unable to fulfill a responsibility, inform the concerned person in advance.
-
Be punctual, disciplined, and sincere: Maintain timeliness, orderliness, and genuine dedication in carrying out responsibilities.
-
Dress appropriately: Attend organizational work or events in neat and presentable attire, rather than casual or home clothes.
-
Arrive early: Reach formal events at least 30 minutes in advance. Unless necessary, do not leave the venue before the invited guests or dignitaries have departed.
-
Report errors and inconsistencies: Once a task is fully completed, inform the concerned person about any mistakes or inconsistencies. Try to minimize any loss before reporting.
-
Notify in case of unavoidable absence: If you cannot attend a program or meeting, inform the responsible person beforehand. Later, take personal responsibility to learn the decisions made in your absence.
-
Inform about changes in residence or travel abroad: If you move to a new residence or go abroad, notify the responsible person in the organization.
This ensures accountability, professionalism, and smooth functioning within the organization.
