TikTok Removes Over 20.7 Million Videos in Bangladesh for Guideline Violations in Q3 2025

TikTok's Q3 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report reveals that the platform removed a total of 20,793,551 videos in Bangladesh during the third quarter of 2025 for violating its community guidelines. The proactive removal rate in Bangladesh was reported at 99.8%, with 97.3% of the flagged content being taken down within 24 hours of uploading.

 

On a global scale, TikTok removed a staggering 204,534,932 videos, representing approximately 0.7% of all content uploaded during the quarter. A significant portion, 186,608,081 videos, was identified and removed using automated detection technologies, highlighting TikTok's increasing reliance on machine learning systems to monitor and filter harmful content.

 

In its efforts to ensure platform integrity, TikTok also took action against fake and underage accounts. The platform removed 118,618,399 fake accounts worldwide, and 22,226,542 accounts suspected of belonging to users under the age of 13.

 

The report also highlighted the top violations, with 32.9% of removed content classified as misinformation, and 34.4% involving manipulated or AI-generated media. Other violations included sensitive or mature themes, safety and civility issues, and privacy breaches.
 

TikTok emphasized that the publication of this report is part of its ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability, and it will continue refining its content moderation systems to tackle emerging challenges in the digital space.
