HSC Recheck Application Opens October 17 – Know the Procedure

The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published today, Thursday, October 16, at 10:00 AM. The re-scrutiny process will begin on October 17.

The information was announced in a press release signed by Professor Dr. Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, on Monday (October 13).
 

According to the press release, the results of the HSC and equivalent examinations 2025 under the Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, and Bangladesh Technical Education Board will be published on October 16 at 10:00 AM.
 

The respective institutions can download the results by visiting the website www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, clicking on the “Result” section, and using the Board name and the institution’s EIIN number.

 

Examinees can collect their results from their respective educational institutions, the integrated website of the education boards at www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, and the official websites of the respective education boards. Additionally, results can be obtained by sending an SMS to the designated short code 16222.


To check results via mobile SMS, students must go to the message option, type HSC, give a space, type the first three letters of the education board in English, give another space, type the roll number, then another space followed by the exam year, and send it to 16222.

A reply SMS will be sent with the result.
 

Meanwhile, for re-scrutiny of results, applications will be accepted from October 17 to October 23 through the website: https://rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. The application procedure will be announced on the websites of the education boards and through newspaper notices.
 

This year’s HSC and equivalent written exams ended on August 19, while the practical exams were held from August 21 to August 31. Over 1.2 million (12 lakh) students participated in the examinations.

A total of 1,251,111 students appeared under 11 education boards, including 618,015 male and 633,096 female students. The exams were held in 2,797 centers across the country.
