Stay Fit at the Office: 7 Exercises in Just 3 Minutes
The Chronify
In a busy life, 10–12 hours are spent sitting at the office. Those who don’t find time for the gym can exercise while sitting at their workplace. Even just 3 minutes a day is enough to stay fit.
These exercises help control body weight while gradually improving overall fitness. Additionally, they aid in maintaining body balance and posture.
1. Calf Raises: Stand holding onto any wall. Keep your feet on the ground and lift your heels upward. This strengthens the muscles below the knee.
2. Wall Sit: Lean against a wall and try to sit down as if you are sitting on a chair, with your back against the wall and knees bent.
3. Single-Leg Balance: Standing on one leg helps improve overall body balance and stability.
4. Step-Ups: Use office stairs to step up and down. This strengthens the leg muscles.
5. Squats: Do a few sets of squats during breaks. This helps tone the lower body.
6. Overhead Press: While sitting on a chair, lift a heavy book or bag above your head with your hands. This strengthens arm muscles.
7. Walk While Working: Avoid sitting at your desk all the time. Walk around while doing tasks like checking papers or talking on the phone. This helps burn calories effectively.
