What is the main reason behind heel pain?
After getting up from lying down or sitting for a long time, you may find that you can’t put your foot properly on the ground. The pain in your heel feels severe, and the cause doesn’t seem obvious. After a while, the pain may ease again. There is a ligament in the sole of the foot called the plantar fascia. When this ligament becomes strained or tight, heel pain increases.
