WhatsApp will now remind you of important messages

A crucial message arrived in a WhatsApp group chat. Due to lack of time, you couldn’t check it at that moment. You thought you’d look at it later carefully but completely forgot. And when you finally remembered, in a hurry and amidst hundreds of messages, you just couldn’t find it anymore.
 

Similarly, whether it’s a friend, relative, or an important office message, which you saw once and then forgot, only to face problems later such incidents are quite common. In your everyday busy life, it’s hard to remember everything. Now, WhatsApp is taking on the responsibility to remind you. The ‘WhatsApp Message Reminder’ will notify you about important chats at the right time.
 

This feature has been launched for iPhone users for now. Customers are getting access to it on iOS version 25.25.74. WhatsApp has stated that the feature will soon be available for Android users as well, and testing is currently underway.
 

The biggest highlight of this new feature is that it works much like an alarm clock. There’s an action mode. You’ll need to go there and set a ‘reminder’ for the message you want to remember. Just like setting a reminder on your phone, you can now do it for WhatsApp messages. Once the reminder is set, WhatsApp will send you a notification at the specified date and time. A bell icon will appear clicking it will show you the message. You won’t need to scroll through the chat again. The message will pop up directly on the screen. If it contains a photo, audio, or video, it will also display on the screen.
 

First, hundreds of messages come in daily on WhatsApp. Among them, important chats often get lost. With message reminders, you can set a specific time or date to be shown that message. Second, it will remind you of plans made with friends or important family messages.
 

Third, it will remind you of office deadlines or the time and date to send critical information. Another benefit is that no one else will know which reminder you’ve set. Only you will see the bell icon on the message. This ensures your privacy is maintained.
