No Casualties or Damage Reported Following Tremor
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck a province in Saudi Arabia on the morning of December 17, 2025, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM). The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 50 kilometers in the country's eastern region, as reported by the Khaleej Times. However, Saudi Gazette reported the tremor with a magnitude of 4.0, originating from a depth of approximately 8 kilometers.
The Saudi Geological Survey’s spokesperson, Tarek Aba Al-Khail, confirmed that no damage or casualties had been reported following the earthquake. He emphasized that the tremor was not strong enough to pose any significant threat to people or infrastructure in the affected region.
