Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has congratulated U.S. President Donald Trump for his bold actions in capturing Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. The congratulatory message came after the United States launched multiple airstrikes and bomb explosions in Caracas, leading to Maduro’s detention along with his wife.

Netanyahu expressed his admiration for Trump's leadership on social media platform X, calling it a "courageous and historic" step for freedom and justice. He further saluted Trump's determination and the bravery of American forces in executing the operation.

The operation, which took place early on Saturday morning, saw coordinated attacks in Venezuela's capital, resulting in the arrest of Maduro and his transfer outside the country. The White House later confirmed that Maduro is currently being held in New York, where he will face legal proceedings.

Trump has long accused Maduro of being involved in "drug terrorism," while Maduro claims the U.S. is targeting Venezuela’s oil industry and seeking to oust him from power.
