In an extraordinary display of philanthropy, Palak Muchhal, a celebrated playback singer, has made her mark in the Guinness Book of World Records. Through her charity, the Palak Palash Charitable Foundation, Palak has personally financed heart surgeries for nearly 4,000 underprivileged children, earning international recognition for her selfless contributions.
The foundation, which started in 2011, has become Palak's life mission, inspired by her childhood empathy for suffering children. Initially, the singer raised funds for small causes, but it wasn't until she raised 51,000 INR for a child’s heart surgery that she formally started her journey in charity. Since then, the foundation has helped thousands of children, with renowned cardiologist Dr. Devi Shetty also contributing his expertise.
