Tom Holland Hospitalized Following On-Set Accident During Spider-Man Filming
Actor Tom Holland was rushed to hospital after suffering a head injury while filming his upcoming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Industry outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, and Variety confirmed that the 29-year-old star sustained a concussion during a stunt sequence at Leavesden Studios in Watford on Friday.
No other crew members were injured in the incident. Holland was immediately taken to hospital for treatment, where he is now recovering.
Production on the film was suspended on Friday, and the actor is expected to take several days off from filming. Sony Pictures, co-producing the project with Marvel, is scheduled to hold a meeting on Monday to review the situation and determine next steps.
