YUNet and Youth Hub Malaysia Sign MoU to Advance Youth Skills and SDGs

Youth Upskill Network (YUNet) and Youth Hub Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on youth skill development and Sustainable Development Goals. The partnership focuses on future-ready skills, technology education and global youth engagement.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Youth Upskill Network (YUNet) and Youth Hub Malaysia to jointly promote youth skill development and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The signing ceremony took place on Saturday, January 10, at the Youth Hub Malaysia office in Kuala Lumpur. Under the agreement, both organizations will collaborate on initiatives aligned with the SDGs by leveraging their respective expertise, networks and institutional capacities.
The MoU was signed on behalf of YUNet by its Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Md Altamis Nabil, while Pavel Sarwar, Co-Founder of Youth Hub Malaysia, signed on behalf of his organization.
According to the agreement, YUNet and Youth Hub will jointly conduct institutional capacity-building and training programmes, with a strong focus on soft skills, STEAM education, Internet of Things (IoT) and Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) skills. The partnership aims to enhance awareness and build practical capabilities among young people and emerging entrepreneurs.
As part of the collaboration, initiatives will also be undertaken to introduce basic coding education, encourage interest in computer science from the school level, and strengthen programming skills among students.
In addition, the two organizations plan to organize national and international awareness programmes, workshops, training and certification activities, as well as technology-based hackathons involving children and adolescents.
YUNet is a Bangladesh-based global platform working to empower youth through skill development, leadership training and international networking, while Youth Hub Malaysia is a global youth-led organization engaged in technology education, wellness, gender equality, social innovation, entrepreneurship and community development. Leaders from both sides said the partnership marks an important step toward creating inclusive, future-oriented opportunities for young people across borders.
