The Bangladesh Army is recruiting personnel for the position of “Officer Cadet” in the 96th BMA Long Course. Interested candidates can apply online until October 18. Applicants must have passed SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

National Curriculum: Passed SSC and HSC (or equivalent) with GPA 5.00 in one exam and minimum GPA 4.50 in the other.

English Curriculum:

Option 1: At ‘O’ Level, 3 A grades and 3 B grades in 6 subjects, and at ‘A’ Level, minimum B grade in 2 subjects.

Option 2: At ‘O’ Level, 2 A grades, 3 B grades, and 1 C grade in 6 subjects, and at ‘A’ Level, 1 A grade and 1 B grade in 2 subjects.

For candidates already serving in the Armed Forces: Passed SSC and HSC separately with minimum GPA 4.00 in each.

For 2025 regular HSC / ‘A’ Level candidates:

2025 regular HSC/‘A’ Level candidates are eligible to apply.

SSC results must meet GPA 5.00 / ‘O’ Level results: 3 A grades and 3 B grades in 6 subjects or equivalent.

Selected candidates can attend ISSB after taking the HSC/‘A’ Level exams.

For both curricula, HSC/‘A’ Level results must be published before joining BMA; candidates without results cannot join.
