Saudi Arabia Announces Umrah Open to Holders of All Visa Types
Saudi Arabia has announced that holders of all types of visas will now be allowed to perform Umrah. The announcement was made in a statement issued by the country’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah
According to media reports, holders of personal and family visit visas, electronic tourist visas, work visas, and any other types of visas are now permitted to perform Umrah while staying in Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry stated that this initiative has been taken to facilitate the performance of Umrah more easily.
The statement further noted that the move aims to allow Muslims to carry out their religious rituals with ease and peace of mind. In July, the Federal Cabinet officially approved the Hajj Policy 2026, which outlines the key procedural, financial, and logistical frameworks for the Hajj season.
