Bangladesh to Host Pakistan for Tests and Australia for White-Ball Series in Busy Home Season

Two-match Test series against Pakistan in May followed by six white-ball matches against Australia in June confirmed by BCB

Bangladesh national cricket team is set for a packed home season as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed fixtures for upcoming series against Pakistan and Australia on 17 April.

 

According to the announced schedule, Pakistan national cricket team will tour Bangladesh for a two-match Test series in May. The squad is expected to arrive in Dhaka on 3 May, with the first Test starting on 8 May at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The second Test will be played in Sylhet from 16 May at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Both matches are part of the 2025–2027 ICC World Test Championship cycle.

 

Following the Pakistan series, Bangladesh will host Australia national cricket team for a white-ball tour starting in June. Australia is scheduled to arrive on 5 June for a six-match series consisting of three One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals.

 

The ODI series will begin on 9 June, with matches on 11 and 14 June, all starting at 11:00 am local time. The T20I series will follow on 17, 19, and 21 June with afternoon starts.

 

The BCB has yet to confirm the venues for the Australia series, but preparations are underway as Bangladesh gears up for one of its busiest international home seasons in recent years.
