Bihar Boy, 13, Dies In Crash, Crowd Loots Fish As His Body Lies On Side
A deeply disturbing incident unfolds in Bihar as a young boy dies in a tragic accident, while bystanders loot fish from the crash site.
In a shocking turn of events from Sitamarhi district, Bihar, a tragic road accident was met with appalling indifference from the onlookers. The incident, which took place near Jhajhihat village under the jurisdiction of the Pupri police station, involved 13-year-old Ritesh Kumar, a seventh-grade student known to friends and family as Golu.
Ritesh was on his way to his morning coaching classes when a speeding pickup truck struck him. The impact was so severe that he died instantly at the scene. The boy’s family, who arrived shortly after, was devastated to find their son’s lifeless body.
However, the reaction from the crowd at the crash site was nothing short of shocking. The pickup truck involved in the crash was carrying fish, which were scattered across the road following the collision. Instead of assisting the family or alerting the authorities, many bystanders began looting the fish, filling sacks and running away, leaving the young boy’s body untouched.
The police soon arrived and managed to disperse the crowd. Ritesh's body was sent for a post-mortem examination. The authorities also seized the pickup truck involved in the crash and initiated an investigation into the incident.
