In a tragic and disturbing event, a 4-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her father in the village of Jharsentali, Faridabad, Haryana, for not being able to count up to 50. The incident occurred on January 21, 2026, when the father, Krishna Jaiswal, reportedly grew enraged after his daughter failed to perform the task.
According to police reports, Krishna Jaiswal, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, had been living in Faridabad with his family for several years. On the day of the incident, he was teaching his daughter at home and asked her to count up to 50. When the young girl could not complete the task, Krishna lost his temper and struck her multiple times. The beating caused the child to fall unconscious.
The father, realizing the severity of the situation, rushed the unconscious girl to a nearby government hospital. However, despite medical efforts, doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
Initially, Krishna attempted to cover up the incident, telling his wife that their daughter had fallen down the stairs. However, upon examining the child’s body and noticing several signs of trauma, the mother grew suspicious and alerted the police. During questioning, Krishna confessed to his crime.
The police have arrested Krishna Jaiswal, and an investigation into the incident is underway. Krishna and his wife both worked for a private company, and they had three children: a 7-year-old son, a 2-year-old daughter, and the deceased 4-year-old girl.
This tragic case has sparked outrage, with many calling for stricter laws and better protection for children in India. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are determined to bring justice to the innocent child.
