Twelve Detained in Bareilly for Offering Namaz Without Permission

Twelve individuals were detained in a village in Bareilly, India, after they were found offering namaz in a vacant house without proper authorization. The incident came to light when a video of the prayers was shared on social media, prompting authorities to take action.
The house in question, owned by Hanif, was reportedly being used temporarily for Friday prayers. The detained individuals were charged under sections related to breach of peace and were granted bail shortly after their arrest. However, police are still in search of three others who remain absconding.
Local authorities have said they will continue investigating the matter as they work to trace those evading arrest.
