Flyadeal launches direct flights on the Dhaka–Jeddah route
Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline Flyadeal will start direct flights on the Jeddah–Dhaka route Wednesday. With this, the airline is officially entering the Bangladesh market.
Initially, the airline will operate two flights per week. The flight F3 9112 from Jeddah to Dhaka will depart at 1:30 AM local time, while the return flight F3 9113 from Dhaka to Jeddah will depart at 1:00 PM.
Although Flyadeal is a low-cost airline, passengers will be provided with free meals and luggage allowance. Officials say the flight primarily offers a new opportunity for migrant workers and general passengers seeking budget travel.
Experts expect that the introduction of this new flight will reduce travel costs to some extent and increase competition in the Bangladesh–Saudi aviation market.
