Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Limited Upgrades Internet Packages, Enhancing Speeds at No Extra Cost
Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Limited (BTCL) has announced a significant upgrade to its internet packages, boosting speeds by up to three times while keeping the prices unchanged. This new initiative aims to provide customers with faster internet services at no extra cost, enhancing their digital experience.
According to BTCL, the upgraded packages are designed to improve user experiences for online education, official work, video streaming, gaming, and other smart services. The core goal of this initiative is to accelerate the country’s digital transformation by ensuring fast and reliable internet services.
As part of the new package, the 'Sulabh-5' package, which offered 5 Mbps for BDT 399, has now been upgraded to the 'Sashrayi-20' package with a speed of 20 Mbps. Similarly, the 'Sulabh-12' package offering 12 Mbps at BDT 500 is now upgraded to 'Sashrayi-25' with 25 Mbps, and the 'Campus-15' package with 15 Mbps for BDT 500 has been transformed into 'Campus-50' with 50 Mbps.
Other packages have also seen improvements, such as the 'Sulabh-15' package upgraded from 15 Mbps to 50 Mbps for BDT 800, 'Sulabh-20' from 20 Mbps to 100 Mbps for BDT 1050, and 'Sulabh-25' from 25 Mbps to 120 Mbps for BDT 1150.
Furthermore, the 'Sulabh-30' package offering 30 Mbps for BDT 1300 has been upgraded to 'Sashrayi-130' with 130 Mbps, while the 'Sulabh-40' package with 40 Mbps for BDT 1500 now provides 150 Mbps under the 'Sashrayi-150' package. The 'Sulabh-50' package at 50 Mbps for BDT 1700 has also been upgraded to 'Sashrayi-170' with 170 Mbps.
BTCL officials have stated that these upgrades will ensure customers receive faster, more reliable, and high-quality internet services. They have emphasized that customer satisfaction is a top priority and assured that similar customer-friendly initiatives will continue in the future.
