Sonadanga Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Investigation Animesh Mondal said that when a person named Motaleb was shot by miscreants, the people present rescued him and first took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
National Citizen Party (NCP) Khulna divisional head and NCP Sramik Shakti central organizer and Motaleb Shikder has been shot.
On Monday (December 22), miscreants shot him in the head at around 11:45 am. He has been taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
Sonadanga Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Investigation Animesh Mondal said that when a person named Motaleb was shot by miscreants, the people present rescued him and first took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital. Later, from there, he was taken to Sheikhpara City Imaging Center for a CT scan of his head.
It has been learned that an investigation has been launched into the cause of the attack and those involved. The police and the concerned authorities are preparing to issue an official statement on the incident.
Top NCP leaders have strongly condemned the attack and urged the administration to conduct a speedy investigation and identify the accused.
