Startup Kushtia Launches Journey with First Executive Committee Meeting

Startup Kushtia, a progressive initiative dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and SME development in Kushtia, has officially begun its journey through the organization’s first Executive Committee (EC) meeting held on August 26, 2025.
The newly formed Executive Committee is led by Md Altamis Nabil as Founding President. The leadership team also includes A. R. Rajib as Executive Vice President, A. H. Ali as Vice President, Annando Kutum as Secretary, and Isha Khan as Director. Together, this committee will guide Startup Kushtia in building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem that nurtures young innovators and small business leaders in the district.
Startup Kushtia envisions a self-reliant and entrepreneur-friendly Kushtia where every young individual can transform innovative ideas into ventures that generate employment and contribute to economic growth. Its mission is to spread entrepreneurial awareness in educational institutions, support youth with skill development and leadership opportunities, encourage innovation based on local challenges and resources, and connect the entrepreneurial community with national and international platforms.
During the first committee meeting, members discussed upcoming activities that include opening online membership registration through official social media channels. Plans were also announced to host an Entrepreneurship Boot-Camp and a Grand Launching Event targeting new entrepreneurs, SMEs, and startups in Kushtia. These initiatives will be followed by regular training sessions, mentorship opportunities, guest speaker programs with successful entrepreneurs, and storytelling campaigns highlighting local success stories.
“Startup Kushtia is not just an organization, it is a movement for the youth of Kushtia,” said Md Altamis Nabil, Founding President of Startup Kushtia. “Our goal is to provide guidance, mentorship, and opportunities so that local innovators can transform their ideas into impactful businesses.”
