BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman said, “The united support of the people is the source of our family’s strength and inspiration.”

In a post on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday (2 December) morning, he made these remarks.

Speaking about former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Tarique Rahman said,
“We are all continuously praying for the quick recovery of our compassionate national leader. In this difficult time, we are profoundly grateful to every individual for their unity, empathy, and solidarity.”

He further said,
“We sincerely thank everyone from the BNP and the Zia family for the support and well-wishes coming from different parts of the world for Begum Khaleda Zia’s recovery.”

Tarique Rahman wrote,
“The concern and anxiety expressed by leaders, diplomats, and friends from various countries, along with the immense love and prayers of the people of Bangladesh, have deeply touched our emotions and feelings.”
