VP Riaz Dedicates Victory to Hadi, Bishwajit, Khaleda Zia, and July Martyrs

After winning the Jagannath University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) election, newly elected Vice President Md. Riazul Islam dedicated his victory to the martyrs of the July uprising, Shaheed Osman Hadi, Bishwajit Das and recently deceased former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

He made these remarks at a press conference held late last night following the announcement of the JAKSU election results.

The newly elected VP said, “We dedicate this victory to Shaheed Abdullah Al Faisal, Shaheed Ikramul Haque Sajid, Bishwajit Das, all students of Jagannath University, the students injured in the July uprising, and our beloved leader Begum Khaleda Zia.”

He added, “Our respected teachers worked tirelessly; it is because of them that the election was conducted peacefully and fairly.”

Riaz further said that, maintaining unity at Jagannath University, they want to implement future plans together with all organizations, political parties, and students. “Our slogan was ‘Potential through struggle, walking together on the same path.’ This is how we will move forward in the days ahead.”
