Tent City of Mina Prepared for Pilgrims Ahead of Hajj Season

Preparations for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage have officially begun in the vast tent city of Mina, as authorities intensify efforts to accommodate hundreds of thousands of pilgrims arriving from around the world.

Construction of the temporary tent infrastructure is now underway, with a focus on ensuring a safe and comfortable stay for pilgrims. The site is being equipped with air-conditioned tents, improved road networks, and upgraded sanitation systems to meet international standards.

Authorities under the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah have also introduced advanced crowd management strategies and digital tracking technologies to maintain order and enhance security during the pilgrimage. These measures are aimed at preventing overcrowding and ensuring smooth movement across key ritual sites.

Healthcare services remain a top priority, with multiple medical camps, emergency response units, and access to clean drinking water being established throughout the area.
