Jadeja's wife in the Gujarat cabinet minister
Rivaba Jadeja, wife of Indian cricket star Ravindra Jadeja, has found a place in Gujarat's new cabinet. On Friday (October 17), the BJP MLA took oath as a junior minister.
It is known that Rivaba was elected as the MLA from Jamnagar North with a margin of 50,000 votes. Despite facing frequent criticism after becoming an MLA, she has overcome the ups and downs of both her political and personal life to become a minister.
In 2022, Rivaba stepped into the electoral arena for the first time. Having long been associated with a Congress-leaning Jadeja family, her decision to join the BJP sparked significant criticism. However, she answered all the allegations through the EVM.
Rivaba holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Instead of pursuing a job, she dedicated herself to social service, with a strong focus on women's empowerment and development. Now, as a minister in Gujarat, the people of Jamnagar hope she will continue her service-driven work in this new role.
