23 India-backed terrorists killed in Pakistan

In an operation by Pakistan’s security forces in Kurram District, 23 terrorists of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as “Khariji,” were killed. This information was provided by the country’s military media wing (ISPR).

A statement said that these operations are part of the country’s ongoing counter-terrorism initiative, “Azm-i-Istehkam.”
 

According to ISPR, in the first operation, security forces targeted a Khariji group in the Kurram area. Intense gunfire led to the killing of 12 terrorists. Based on new intelligence, a second operation targeted another group in the same region, killing 11 more Khariji members. Both groups were reportedly involved in terrorist activities with Indian backing.
 

Search operations are ongoing to locate remaining terrorists in the Kurram region. ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security and law enforcement agencies are committed to eliminating any form of terrorism conducted with foreign sponsorship.
 

These operations are being conducted under the “Azm-i-Istehkam” vision, implemented as part of the National Action Plan approved by the Federal Apex Committee, to safeguard national security and regional stability.
 

ISPR further stated that intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations will continue. The statement added, “Security forces will continue operations at full pace to eliminate terrorism backed by foreign sponsors.”
