BNP to Hold Doa Mahfil for Khaleda Zia Today
Chhatra Dal (JCD) will arrange a doa and munajat at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of Dhaka University at 5:00 pm.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will organize doa and milad programmes today to pray for the eternal peace of former prime minister and party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
As part of the central observance, a doa and milad mahfil will take place at Azad Mosque in Gulshan following Asr prayers.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is expected to attend the programme along with members of the party’s Standing Committee, senior leaders, and representatives of Dhaka City BNP as well as its affiliated and front organizations.
Separately, BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas will host a doa and milad mahfil at his residence in Shahjahanpur after Asr prayers in remembrance of the late leader.
In addition, the party’s student wing, Chhatra Dal, will arrange a doa and munajat at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of Dhaka University at 5:00 pm.
Beyond the capital, BNP units nationwide will also hold similar prayer gatherings today, seeking forgiveness and eternal peace for the departed soul of Begum Khaleda Zia.
