NCP Leader's Hanging Body Recovered from Hostel

Police have recovered the hanging body of a student named Jannat Ara Rumi from a hostel adjacent to Jigatola Kacha Bazar in Hazaribagh, capital Dhaka.
The body of the student was recovered from the hostel on Thursday (December 18) morning and sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Hazaribagh Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to the media.
He said that she was involved in NCP politics while living in the area.
Initially, the police said that Rumi committed suicide. Police said that she was under mental stress from her family.
