Bangladesh Sets World Record for Most Flags Held During Parachuting on Victory Day
On Bangladesh’s Victory Day, the country set a new Guinness World Record for the most flags held during a parachute jump, marking a historic achievement in the world of skydiving.

On the occasion of Bangladesh's Victory Day, the country has made its mark in the Guinness World Records by setting a new record for the most flags held during a parachute jump. The achievement was officially confirmed today by the World Records Management Team.
According to the Guinness World Records website, the record was set on December 16, 2025, when Team Bangladesh successfully raised a total of 54 national flags while skydiving, surpassing previous records. The record-setting event took place in Dhaka, with the skydivers coming from various parts of the country.
The skydivers, under the banner of ‘Team Bangladesh’, unified to create a symbol of national unity and cooperation on Bangladesh's 54th Victory Day. This remarkable feat was achieved as a tribute to the spirit of the nation's independence.
Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), expressed his joy upon the official recognition of the record. He stated, "Today is a proud day for all Bangladeshis. We wish to share this joy with the entire nation."
